Soon they discover that their greatest enemy is not the microbe attacking humanity, but the darkness within themselves. Why this??: well, I guess b/c it has a cool trailer... 2. OLD DOGS Release Date: 7 January 2010 Language: English Running Time: 1 hour 27 minutes Director: Walt Becker Cast: John Travolta, Robin Williams, Kelly Preston, Dax Shepard, Matt Dillon, Seth Green. Synopsis: Two friends and business partners - an unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and fun loving bachelor (John Travolta) - have their lives turned upside down when strange circumstances lead to them being placed in the care of 7-year-old twins (newcomers Ella Bleu Travolta & Conner Rayburn) while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. Why this??: The cast & trailer caught my eyes.

Why this??: After I watched the trailer, I thought it is a bit like the orphan. People has many good comments on this movie, so I would give it a try. After all, Renee is a great actress.

Why this??: It's Jackie Chan's comedy, what do you think? 5. THE STEPFATHER Why this??: love horror ~_~ (inherited from my mom) 6. VALENTINE'S DAY Why this??: Mainly because of the TaylorS ^^ lols! 7. ALICE IN WONDERLAND Why this??: Tim Burton + Johnny Depp + Helena Bonham Carter = AN AWESOME COMBO!!! 8. UP IN THE AIR Why this??: It looks like an inspirational movie. 9. IT'S COMPLICATED Why this??: I can't say no to Meryl Streep & Steve Martin. 10. DIARY OF A WIMPY KID Release Date: 1 April 2010 Language: English Running Time: N/A Director: Thor Freudenthal Cast: Devon Bostick, Rachael Harris, Robert Capron, Steve Zahn, Zachary Gordon. Synopsis: Based on the best-selling illustrated novel Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, the comedy chronicles the adventures of wise-cracking middle school student Greg Heffley over the course of an academic year. Why this??: I don't know but the cover of its original novel attracts me. 11. DATE NIGHT Release Date: 8 April 2010 Genre: Action, Comedy Running Time: N/A Director: Shawn Levy Cast: Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Taraji P. Henson, Mila Kunis, Common, Jimmi Simpson, Leighton Meester, Mark Wahlberg. Synopsis: Claire and Phil Foster (Tina Fey and Steve Carell) are a typical suburban couple whose lives – including their weekly date nights of dinner and a movie – have become routine. To reignite the marital spark, they visit a trendy Manhattan bistro where a case of mistaken identity turns their evening into the ultimate date night-gone-awry. But as Claire and Phil take their unexpected walk on the wild side, they begin to remember what made them so special together. Why this??: I first saw the trailer in the cinema when I watch Zombieland and I know I gotta watch this! Even if it's rated 18PG b/c I think it definitely will in M'sia. When it comes to comedy, Tina Fey & Steve Carell are both GENIUS!!! 12. KIDNAPPER Why this??: what? A Singapore movie? Not a comedy? WOW! 13. THE BACK UP PLAN Release Date: 22 April 2010 Language: English Genre: Comedy, Romance Running Time: N/A Director: Alan Poul Cast: Jennifer Lopez, Eric Christian Olsen. Synopsis: After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) decides that waiting for “the one” is taking too long. Determined to be a mother, she takes matters into her own hands and makes an appointment at a fertilization clinic. On the day of her procedure, Zoe meets a great guy, Stan (Alex O'Loughlin). Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan surprises Zoe. Why this??: this actually look, like it will be fun to watch. 14. Emerging from a lengthy prison stint, Gekko finds himself on the outside of a world he once dominated. He now has to play catch-up and redefine himself in a different era. Why this??: From what I searched about the 1st movie which was released in 1987, it said that this Wall Street film was a movie legend. 15. Synopsis: Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Notebook”) latest novel, THE LAST SONG is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (GREG KINNEAR) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (MILEY CYRUS), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. Why this??: It's well written by an famous author. 16. SHREK FOREVER AFTER Release Date: 21 May 2010 Language: English Genre: Comedy, Animation Running Time: N/A Director: Mike Mitchell Cast: Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, John Lithgow, John McCartney. Synopsis: After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws kingdom, what's an ogre to do? Well, if you're Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a real ogre, Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love. Why this??: I LOVE the whole series of SHREK!! 17. NANNY MCPHEE AND THE BIG BANG Release Date: 27 May 2010 Language: English Genre: Family, Fantasy Running Time: N/A Director: Susanna White Cast: Emma Thompson, Ralph Finnes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rhys Ifans, Maggie Smith. Synopsis: This time, she finds herself at the door of a family farm where mayhem has broken out between some boisterous country children and their spoiled city cousins. Relying on everything from a flying motorcycle and a statue that comes alive to a tree-climbing piglet and a baby elephant that turns up in the oddest places, Nanny McPhee conjures up just the right formula to teach her charges five new lessons. Why this??: There's rumor claimed that Emma Thompson won't be starring as Professor Trelawney in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows b/c of this film. The HP cast like Maggie Smith & Raplh Finnes definitely worth every penny. 18. THE KARATE KID Release Date: 10 June 2010 Language: English Running Time: 1 hour 48 minutes Director: Harald Zwart Cast: Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan. Synopsis: 11 year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) and his mother, Sherry, are forced to move to Beijing, China as a result of a job transfer. Dre struggles to adapt and finds himself in trouble with one of the toughest boys at school. Unknown to Dre, Mr. Han, his apartment building's maintenance man and a retired karate instructor, has been secretly watching Dre's struggles. Mr. Han steps in to defend Dre and becomes his mentor. Why this??: Jaden is a very talented young actor (I guess he get the skills from his dad, it's in his blood.) 19. TOY STORY 3 Why this??: Toy Story is part of my childhood ^^
