In what is sure to be a dazzling move ;) Dan will sport fangs of a sort for a parody episode based on the mega hit Twilight series where he will portray a character named Edmund (yes, really) "a boy vampire whom Lisa falls for. Unfortunately for the Twilight-crossed lovers, Homer and Dracula -- Edmund's dear, old dad -- don't approve of the union, and they endeavor to put a stop to it."
“Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons,” says Jean, “and we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”
This episode will air next fall as part of the Simpson's "Treehouse of Horror XXI" triptych, the series' yearly Halloween special."

Are you psyched for a Harry Potter-meets-Twilight union on The Simpsons? Will we see some reference to Cedric Diggory/Robert Pattinson's participation in both franchises? I can hardly WAIT to see it!!!!
