love him so much....

HEAR, HEAR, Harry Potter's magic will never cease to amaze the hearts and minds of both young and old one. This series is a true modern classic and has left its mark on the literary world that will stand the test of time.
[The cast] were really nice to me, they've been there for 10 years. There were people on that movie finishing their Harry Potter life, people who'd been there for 10 years and it had been their life. And they'd become great friends. You do on a single movie: you become great friends, people get married or have babies or just become great friends. It's always tough to pull away because you go and do another movie.
On Harry Potter, they've done six or seven movies and they've become big parts of each other's lives. There was a feeling of, kind of, the end of things for people. Some people finished while I was there, they had their last scenes. It's a very big deal, it's not like other movies. As for the Harry Potter cast's future projects, Nighy finished, "they will all go on and the audience that grew up with them will be happy to see them in other things. [...] They've grown up together and that audience will stay with them, I would think."
Bill Nighy Talks About Working on DH
The new movie focuses heavily on Harry's tangles with the evil Lord Voldemort. "Harry and Voldemort go wand to wand in the courtyard," says longtime producer David Heyman.
In one scene, Voldemort grabs Harry's face and malevolently hisses "Why do you live?" And brave Harry responds, "Because I have something to live for."
Technical advances have leaped forward over the course of the series. "A lot of the stuff we do in this film, we couldn't have done on the first film," says Heyman. "The quality of the visual effects is so much better. (House elves) Kreacher and Dobby will be so much better realized than in the previous films since we have new technology to better capture their faces.
"What I love about these films is the blend of old and new technology."

The BEST trailer I've ever seen
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) told Access Hollywood that he would "absolutely" consider appearing on television programme "Glee" if he were asked.
“Yes, absolutely,” he said when Access asked if he would consider appearing on FOX’s “Glee.”
“I would consider it. I mean of course… it’s an amazing show and I [would] obviously be honored to be asked,” he explained. “But, I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet. They’ve got standards like Kristin Chenoweth!”
Dan in GLEE?? That would be AWESOME!!!
I took the golden egg that was in the fourth film - a dragon egg. Apparently it was worth a few thousand dollars. I put it in a pillowcase, it was with James Oliver [sic], it was a joint effort. But they tracked it down and got it off us.
"A wand I think would be nice to keep. They don't really like things going away from the set."
"Me, Rupert and Emma were all just... and most of the crew, you know, crying quite a lot."

“I ... we ... were very emotional. I’m not a particularly overly emotional kind of person. And so, I didn’t really expect it to be ... to cry ... as much as I did. But I was absolutely devastated at the moment, because I just thought, ‘Well, what am I gonna do now?’ You know? I don’t know what my day-to-day life is without Harry Potter,” Radcliffe said. “I’ve got to sort of find that out.”
...
In the meantime, he hopes to have a reminder of his Potter days. “I’m going back (to the ‘Potter’ set) for two — literally two — days, and I’m going to get the glasses. Gotta get the glasses,” he said
Radcliffe is certain to have a long acting future before him. But will that future include a day where he ceases to wake up without a little bit of Harry Potter inside?
“No. Not at all,” he said. “Every opportunity I get from now until the rest of my life is derived from the fact that when I was 10 years old, I got cast as Harry Potter. And I will be forever grateful and very proud to be associated with it.”

Press Conference with HP cast at Wizarding World
People is reporting that Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) hosted a dinner during the last week of filming "Deathly Hallows" as a way of saying good-bye to the series:
"'The last week of filming Emma had a dinner at her place, and we spoke about the best moments of filming, our secret crushes on set – all kinds of random questions,' says James Phelps, who plays mischievous Fred Weasley in the movies. 'But all the answers to these questions will stay in that room!'"

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" -- Hedwig and Dobby's deaths T.T
"Deathly Hallows" houses the end of the many, many beloved (and hated) "Harry Potter" characters, but none carry quite the emotional impact of Hedwig and Dobby. Both deaths happen early on in the seventh book, and thus will be in "Deathly Hallows: Part 1." The characters -- Harry's pet owl and a rebellious house elf -- weren't as developed in the films as they were in the novels, but both still deserve moving death scenes.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" -- Harry's walk to his death
SPOILER ALERT: Harry Potter doesn't die in the saga that bears his name. He lives happily ever after, at least through age 36 when he sends his younger son Albus off to Hogwarts for the first time. However, Harry does sacrifice his life to stop Voldemort from attacking Hogwarts and save his friends towards the end of the novel. How does that make sense, you say? Well, you'll just have to wait and see. J.K. Rowling has admitted to weeping throughout writing the scene where Harry walks to his impending doom, resurrecting the ghosts of his parents, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black (whose role Oldman will reprise) to garner the courage to face Voldemort. It is without a doubt one of the most emotional scenes in the whole of the "Harry Potter" franchise, and should project itself beautifully on the big screen.
I like the part it mentioned Hedwig & Dobby's death..... *sad*
MTV Discusses "What's Worked Best" in the Potter Movies
The Press Association has some new quotes from Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) in which the actor confirms that the Harry Potter cast are unaware of where the split will come between the last two films in the Harry Potter series.
"We don't know where the cut's going to be," says Felton, "[e]veryone keeps asking us 'where is the cut?' but they've shot it kind of all as one and I think they're going to wait and see whatever feels right."

Universal Orlando has released this image of the Knight Bus, as seen in the "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" films, arriving at Universal Orlando Resort, the home of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The accompanying caption reads:

A bit more today on the final day of filming for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" comes again from the Twitter account of actor Warwick Davis. The Professor Flitwick and Griphook actor tweeted that Rupert Grint, who portrays the character of Ron Weasley, arrived on set in his much talked about ice cream van, and served the cast and crew with frozen treats. His tweet reads:
For the last day on 'HP', Rupert 'Mr Whippy' Grint arrived in his ice cream van & served up 99s for cast & crew... It brought a smile to everyones face on what was a very emotional day. It was a thrill to see a teaser for 'Deathly Hallows' too. :)What a good idea, Rupert!
Yesterday at the Tony Awards, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) spoke about wrapping up the shooting of "Deathly Hallows":
"'Everyone was really devastated. It was really, really sad,' Radcliffe said Sunday. '[We] were crying quite a lot.' ...When asked how it felt to end his role as the boy wizard, Radcliffe said, 'It's a weird, weird feeling.'"

After ten years of production, filming of the Harry Potter movies is set to wrap today, June 12th. According to a twitter update by actor Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook), principal photography on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was completed today. He tweets:
The end of an Era - today is officially the last day of principal photography on 'Harry Potter' - ever. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it's been magic! x
Best wishes to Dan, Rupert and Emma, hope they do really well in their post-HP careers! And thank you so much to the cast and crew for the films I grew up with! These films have meant so much to me, putting a smile on my face every time, and introducing me to the wonderful world JK Rowling created. :)
Harry Potter isn’t over, and it never will be. Harry lives on!!! Posted by FilmGirl27 *blizzard* (ROAR!!) on June 12, 2010, 02:23
At first, the end of Lost… “It’s just a show but it feels like loosing a friend”… It was very sad… But I survived. I don’t imagine how I will felt when i see the last part of DH. “The end of an Era” – so true! And if in the case of Lost there will be some substitute, another good show to talk about, HP is irreplaceable. SAAAAAAAAAD!

i’m actually crying… it’s been an amazing, amazing AMAZING time and i love these films soooo much! they have never been anything compared to the books but they are still magic and i just can’t believe it’s over… it’s been usch a huge part of my childhood, and now ’’teenagehood’’ as you might say!
I will always love the books and the films and we;ve still got the encyclopedia to come!! xx
This series has had the biggest impact on my life. Ten years of magic and adventure have come to a close…but I know that these movies and books will never die. I’m eternally grateful that all the producers and directors held so much compassion and hope for these movies, that they could grow in a way that taught children and adults alike the meaning of love, hope, friendship, compassion, trust, and so much more. I’m so happy that the crew and actors stayed on the films and put so much time and effort into this world wide phenomena. Thank you to everyone who poured their hearts into the final installment. <3 childhood =") Posted by NOOOOOOO ITS ALL OVER! i think i might start crying here )’=
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is almost more then a POTTER fan can take. The rap on the last movies installment is done and the lights are turned out on the greast fantasy ride anyone can take. Thank’s to everyone involved in the series and may you all go on to lead wonderful and meaning lives LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER :)
Posted by doublecore on June 12, 2010, 05:10 PMSuch a sad day! I know we still have to watch these films, but until now there’s always been a new one to make! No more first pics of Hagrid’s hut! No more casting news! sniff A HUGE thank you to the cast and crew of these amazing films. Thanks for 10 years of bringing Harry’s world to life. We appreciate it more than you know. Looking forward to seeing everyone in their post-HP careers!
Posted by mrh216 on June 12, 2010, 05:52 PMWell at least on the bright side, we still have to see the films. And I’m sure even though filming has wrapped, you can bet the cast will still be making plenty of appearances for the opening of the theme park and before the release of both halves of the final film. So it’s not completely over yet. But still a little sad to see it starting to end…
Posted by kleigh629 on June 12, 2010, 05:58 PMThe Harry Potter experience has been a wonderful enlivening period in my life at a time when my ability to get out and about independently was reduced through failing health. I am grateful to Jo Rowling for her creation and for being the kind of person she is. She set the standards and as a result we have had a truly remarkable literary and filmic phenomenon and talent and inspiration has simply poured out of the people involved in it. Those of you who grew up with Harry will have wonderful memories to carry with you into the future and share with your own children. Take heart, Harry will be the Boy Who Lived for a long time to come.
Posted by Graymayne on June 12, 2010, 07:29 PMI cannot believe that never again will we hear about them making the movies. I cannot believe we have ceased to hear about all they have to offer for this franchise. I cannot believe that, as with the books, we are quickly approaching the end. However, ends represent beginnings and on that note I do commend everyone who has contributed to the films for helping create outstanding adaptations of the novels and wish them the best of luck as they advance in their careers.
Posted by Kirk on June 12, 2010, 11:40 PMIt’s sad that the movies have come to an end (actually SOB is more like it.) It is remarkable that the same cast, with the exception of the late Richard Harris, has remained the same for the last 10 years (this really is a feat and a half) as no other franchise has been able to pull this off (ie. 007)! The films have given voice and face to characters that we love and will continue to love through the years and will see in our minds eye everytime we reread the books. Many thanks to JK Rowling and the cast and crew of the films, it has been a great ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can cry alot and will especially after #8 comes to an end!

In a recent article Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) speaks about how though he's finished filming all the Harry Potter movies the fact that the series is over "hasn't sunk in yet" for him:
"'I was expecting this big emotional breakdown but instead the first AD (assistant director) got out the microphone and listed the names of people who it was their last day and forced the crew for a ripple of applause and then we walked off and that was it,' Tom revealed.
'The reason why it perhaps hasn't sunk in yet is because we always feel like we're going to be asked back for something or other, I'm sure it's not the last time we've seen those studios,' he laughed."In the article Felton also speaks about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park and how it might help the cast's "withdrawal symptoms" in the future.
